l SOCIETY FOR HUMAN ECOLOGY International Human Ecology Conference, 29 June-3 July, 2009, University of Manchester (UK). theme: "Human Ecology for an Urbanizing World." l SOCIETY FOR APPLIED ANTHROPOLOGY Generally holds its annual meeting  in April,  For information about present and future programs contact the Society office at sfaa2005@sfaa.net or phone 1-405-843-5113. l NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONALS (NAEP) holds is annual conference in April of each year.For  information, accommodations and to join NAEP go to www.naep.org  To submit a paper or program idea go to conference@NAEP.org

l NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION FOR IMPACT ASSESSMENT (NZAIA) will hold its 2009 annual conference 26-27 November, Papamoa Beach, Tauranga. l ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIOLOGY SECTION OF THE AMERICAN SOCIOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION will meet as part of the 101st (2006) annual meeting of the American Sociological Association, 11-14 August, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Theme: "Great Divides: Transgressing Boundaries." On line submission of  an abstract for a paper, poster or session begins  November, 2005. The deadline is January 18, 2006. Go to www.asanet.org
